A bit more done, soldered up some brass headlamp guards and fitted to headlamp brackets.

Here you are doing all this out of metal and I am trying to make a early mantlet and that’s getting on my nerves. I can only imagine the pain this is causing

Just thinking about making the head light shells, whether cast some resin or white metal will have to make some molds first for either...

Hi.
So i decided to make the headlamp shells from resin (easier to machine)
Here's 4 headlamp shells made from a Home made mold there from polyester resin, i painted them in primer to see any imperfections but didnt think they came out too bad, so now onto hollowing the inside out to fit an LED and make a reflector prior to thinking about the lense.

With four of these i should be able to operate the model in pitch darkness. :haha:

This was taken in daylight and in a room with the lights on....
You cannot look directly at it without having spots in your eyes afterwards, and all at 3.3volts
