A muffled HL210 in a Tiger 1 early will sound different to a muffled HL230 in a Tiger 1 late.

from the videos I've seen of the TK 6.0( With several soundsets on) the german ww2 sounds are just a copy of the tamiya one

Heng Long would probably say that one recorded HL230 was pretty much the same as another HL230 And they might just have a point after all every 1/16 Tiger 1 shares the same dimensions, and the fixtures and fittings on a Tamiya or a Taigen or a Heng Long Tiger 1 early are very alike which one would expect,
Its the errors and omissions that tell the difference between the brands not the similarities.

Given that the start sequence isn't something that is easily repeatable, I'd have to suggest that you'd convince a jury that was copyright infringement - the question is, did Tamiya bother to register their copyright in the first place?

Presumably the Samur Museum owns the copyright it is after all their Tiger,
The only problem would be if the Museum gave Tamiya a licence and Heng Long then breached the terms of the licence although if they said their recording was of another Tiger 1 who is to say otherwise?

The copyright holder is the entity making the recording, not the owner of the instruments used in the performance.
