There are some interesting and detailed pics of an
actual Chally 2 TES Megatron tank- in its latest livery, on this website:
https://armyrecognition.com/united_king ... k_mbt.html
edit: there shouldn't have been an apostrophe in 'its'. It's no longer there now- to appease the inner pedant
Gen.J.,< Yes, it certainly looks like there's an armour kleptomaniac/ shopaholic on the crew. Clearly,there's scarcely a square inch of uncluttered space remaining on it (A bit like my shelves...

)

Good find. That coffee table on the turret top is a nice after thought for the crew

. My only concern would be covering the detail in netting - l guess that's optional. Also, and this is just an observation, the poor Chally looks so overloaded! I wonder how many get stuck on top of ground obstacles.

I did the full scrim netting on mine - not a bad result if I say so myself

Yes, l looked at your thread and you did do a great job but it's just my opinion. It's probably my design engineering background - l prefer the clean lines of the tank to the camo cover netting. I not really keen on heavy weathering techniques either for the same reasons but accept l may be in the minority!

I must be in the same minority, as I prefer a tank with fairly clean lines, and minimal weathering.
Battle damage is a separate issue.
Yes, Black Knight did a fine job with the Black Chally 2. I'm almost tempted to try the Berlin Brigade look on mine. Like this:

Chees for the feedback gents

My rationale for the whole "muddy tank"thing was that this is my first go at weathering and I am not capable of pulling off the light dustin/splashes some of you guys do so well. Any attempt I made on a "naked" tank would have spoiled it for me and I also kind of like the muddy used look. Also (possibly due to my previous employment

) the whole scrimmage thing looks pretty sexy to me

Wouldn't it be dull and boring if we were all alke! However, my plan was to add this kit to a desertised Chally but now l'm considering s second European based green camo as well.
You know, l said several months ago, l should never have strayed from WW2 era and bought a Leopard 2. It was cheap but it was a camouflaged flood gate being opened. I've asked Forgebear to get me a Russian T-90 as well. Storage? These MBTs are far bigger. I used to have a dinning room and conservatory. Sigh
Never bored though
