Is there a speaker with the sound card? Or is it seperate? Will a Taigen card work on a Heng Long speaker?

The speaker and sound card are separate units. They all play together well.

If you buy the Taigen set up you were talking about before from http://www.forgebeartanks.com it includes an uprated speaker as well as a sound card.
The Heng Long sound system and the Taigen system are not compatible except for the speaker.

Does the sound card have a built in speaker? Not necessarily from Forgebear, just a stock one?

No the speaker is separate from the sound card which is why you can use a Heng Long Speaker which just like the Taigen speaker plugs into the sound card as indeed would a "VerizonFR7/8" or any other speaker with a "JST" Plug,

Hi Maxxmekker....thanks for your response to pm last month. In your above 2017 Sherman video, what speaker are you using and is sound the GAA V8 on audio or c975? It sounds so gorgeous. Will TK60 allow transition between both motors (or sound for all current Sherman
engines for that matter)? Looking for some motor diversity and option for my first tank..
Thanks,
