Thank you Imcq11 and wildboar44! The info and finger crossing gave me luck! The German 88 arrived today and I feel like a kid at Christmas. I’ve been trying to obtain one of these for months. Now I can think about building a “Close to Leningrad” diorama with my Initial Production Tiger 1. Stay tuned.

Oh hell, no worries my friend. Just joshing. I’m just glad to have one these “out of production” son of a bitches. Any build tips would be appreciated of course. I’m thinking about having my Initial Production Tiger pulling one into a new position at Leningrad. In my pretend scenario the gun’s half-track SD was disabled and a Tiger 1 offered to help reposition the 88. It’s all about fun of course,

Leave the axles and wheels off until your ready for painting as other wise it blocks off a large area of the underside making it impossible to properly paint and weather.

Hi all,
I put a deposit down on a 1/16 scale metal 88 today, the only markings on it are “made in Spain”.
Has anyone seen on of these before or got any info?

Denix did one in the late 2000's, is this one of them?

Just had a look at their website, it could very well be one of theirs, thanks MartinImage
Just found a pewter one on EBay, it looks very similar but not quite as sharp in detailImage
Perhaps they did different versions?

Wespemodels seems to have a good 88mm flak in resin with metal barrel. Currently on sales. That Vomag is huged.
