Thanks all, just placed the order for the SkyRC B6 Mini.

Thanks Max-U52, but I do not plan on buying any IMEX products.

I think you'll find that's actually a re-branded Imex

Why don't you want to buy anything from IMEX?
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

What do you mean? From what I have read - SkyRC is the originator, and there are many clones. I also don't see anything like it on IMEX's website.

I am currently having electronics problems with my tank kit, and they so far are not being very accommodating. I may change my tune based on what the outcome is, but right now, I have a bad taste in my mouth.

That surprises me. Erik at Imex has always been super helpful and returns my emails in a timely manner.

You asked for advice and you were given it - the Imax charger was a clear winner. Note, IMAX not Imex!

I have the one with the built in power supply but it has a 12v lead too and it's very compact, had a very clear screen, very smart set of functions that you may need for each battery type, does all types, has a good supply of charging leads for all types of battery plugs (male and female) and if you buy it f on Banggood you'll get it far far cheaper. Still, if you know better, why did you ask?

I'm confused. I asked what people thought, after hearing good things I ordered one. Why the hostility?

That's simple. My bad, l was confused by the alternate name and the mentions of Imex. You'll enjoy using it but read the manual as it can do lots of tricks you may otherwise miss. If you use NiMH, for example, the cycling function will boost your cells.

My apologies.

To conclude.
The imAx charger has nothing to do with imEx.
The imAx genuine charger is VERY good.
But beware, there are fake copies out there, and I've read some of the reviews, just make sure you're getting them from a reputable place.

Mr orntar, please forgive some forum members, they are very old and forgetful, can never find their glasses on their heads and hence don't read properly ;)

As for the imEx problem, we the onlookers don't know the circumstances, therefore, although we know they have a usual solid reputation, we shouldn't take sides without knowing all the details.

Thanks, Son of a gunner, I am not ready to bad mouth yet. I was not trying to announce I had issues.

The mother board is on its way back to the seller. I will just have to see what happens next.
