i have been here since nov 2008 i have enjoyed the chats and friends i have made on here .
if it was not for all the guys here and other friends we would not be forgebear tanks .
i would like to thank all the members for over the years of custom and to the guys in the background who work hard to make this site safe for all of us and matt where it all started

Happy birthday forum,
not been a member for long but I have got answers to many questions
by going through the sections, it has also cost me, started doing a tank up, which led to 3 more plus a kit from Ludwig
and then the upgrades, hope wife never finds out, all in all a very good forum.

11 years.. has it really been that long! Even though I'm no longer an active member of the forum, I still drop in once in a while to see how things are going (other than the maintainace behind the scenes!).

I want to say thank you to everybody who is and has been a part of the forum, some from day 1, all who have contributed to this being a great place for everybody! Special thanks to the moderators who keep the forum safe from spammers, clean and tidy for no benefit of their own! Also to the donators who help keep the forum going, RC Tank Warfare has and will always be a non-profit website that comes out of my own pocket, as at the start the site was created solely with the intention to get away from the money making organisations for a place that is run by the hobbyists, for the hobbyists! I aim to keep it that way for many many years to come, running and maintaining a forum of this scale has taught me a lot, and being a programmer by trade it's contributed vastly to my skillset in the real world! I feel privileged with the help of many others to have created a place that so many can enjoy.

I was loitering on a US forum as I had a £50 Heng Long tank and there was nowhere else to learn about them. Then Matt sends me a PM saying he is starting a UK forum and did I want to join it. I did, one of the original bunch, and I'm still in contact with a few of them till this day.

My wallet is empty, my experience and knowledge has gone beyond anything I ever thought I could possibly know, I have made excellent friends both on and offline, I've had some brilliant weekends away, I have lost a room, and I have no shelf space!

Here's to the next 11 years.
