If you go to "Tank Encyclopedia" as suggested by Mick you will see 14 variants of the M3 Half-Track, and there was at least one build of a howitzer conversion on the Forum which the search panel on the top of this page might reveal.

Thank you for the replies.

I have decided to start an AEC MKii armoured car.

If you intend to really detail your AEC build the first thing to do is arrange an eye test :lolno:
They are quite small in 1/16,
As to control boards the IBU2 will probably be too big, the Clark board is the same size as the Heng Long rx18 series that includes the Taigen control board the difference being that CLARKs TK22 is programmable.
As to tyres there are a number of dealers selling them in various sizes and if you don't want to print your own you could ask one of the members of this forum to help.

The AEC is not a whole lot smaller than a Sherman. The biggest issue is likely going to be the width of the axles being greater than the available WPL/JJRC ones. If you can mount the motor up high like in the WPL trucks it should be possible to fit the clark board in below it. Finding a home for batteries and the turret traverse will be interesting, but not impossible.

Have you seen the postage, 33 quid and that's in Europe, not in the states like their profile suggests :/

After paying out some rather exorbitant postal costs lately, I'm feeling a little off. Plus we can get a whole tank shipped for less lol.
