Id like to print this in 1/16 scale for my warbird

But the fins are probably too weak then. Is it easy to modify the file to make them thicker?

That model at 100% is 255mm long, how long should it really be at 1/16 ?

I think it would be, roughly, about 9cm long, but I am poor at maths. Maybe you can calculate it better than me.

The thing is, if the fins are already thin at full size, at 1.16 will be way too thin and fragile...

By the looks of it the fins will be far too fragile at 1/16, I don’t have the skills to make them thicker at 1/16 but someone may be along shortly

Well, lets hope somebody pops here with the skills needed, lol.

but yeat, It will need fins about 1mm thick. It has to be more or less strong, because my warbird will literally drop the bomb.

Can't you use plasticard for the fins?

I was thinking the same thing, print it at scale & use it as a template, it will need to be really robust to drop it more than once lol
