Not such they useless were. As of 22.05.1941, in the Red Army there were 48 T-35 tanks which were adopted by the 67 and 68 tank regiments of the thirty fourth tank division of the Kiev OVO.
At the same time only 7 tanks lost directly in fights, 6 were under repair at the time of the beginning of military operations, and others 35 failed because of malfunctions, broke during the march and were destroyed or thrown by crews.

what do you use to cast those parts with? I want to do something similar for a project where I wuold 3D print a master, smooth it...then use it to cast with. Never done it before...and wondered what I need to make the moulds, and what I need to cast with.
At first I do the master model on the 3D printer or manually. Then I process it and I do a form of silicone. Later in a form I fill in two-component plastic.

Ilgar, you’re an absolute star
I’ve been searching the internet for ages trying to find out what the triangular parts do, as on Dean’s design they prevent the fan cover sitting down correctly. Now that I know that they move to control the airflow I can modify my 1/6 scale version so that they operate as they should!
Thank you very much

There are advances on the T-35A project. Remade a lot of things, remained even more.
