Hi Tom, a bit of lateral thinking on your elevation issue, if you work out how much of the recoil cog you need in order to get the desired recoil length, then you may be able to cut off the part of the cog that is fouling the turret floor.
Alternatively, I can print a 'mirror image' pivot that puts the recoil on the top of the pivot instead of the bottom.
There's always a cunning plan if you look for it......

Not right now. Gathering coinage.... potentially something bigger in the works for you guys. Even bigger than my firefly kits!
