Only you could have built it this way
I would have glued wooden or cardboard strips to a sheet of ply.

After now all was prepared to build the walls is some point still missing – the preservation of the timber work with a simultaneously colouring of the outsides of timber work. For that was the varnish with oil paint coloured and thereafter started.
Coloured have been only the outsides; inside was the varnish unchanged used.
Thereafter have been the first wall parts coloured with a white acrylic paint – often to see at timbered houses. Probably was a lime paint used.
Meanwhile painting I’ve tried to receive a bit aged walls – afterwards less work. Some spallings in the plaster has been also displayed.
The wall parts have been glued then into the timber; used was Latex Binder. This is after drying colourless and remains permanently flexible.
Here is now the spalled wall part glued; view from a greater distance…
…and this view a bit closer.
Until the next time…

It goes on; the bricklayer and the painter have their hands full.
The first gable wall is finished.
Mixed up it goes on;…
…at the front side…
…and also at the rear side.
Slowly is there an end in sight…
A last timber work is remaining.
So looks the timbered house at the moment; from front,…
…from left side,…
…from rear…
…and from the right side.
For today that’s again all.

My house will receive some functions; on the one hand of course light, this is especially for our yearly meeting at sunset and for the other hand a smoker, who will let both chimneys smoke. At the next step I’ve glued aluminium foil on the inside of the walls. This should prevent, that the light shines through some gaps.
Glued was the foil again with Latex Binder.
Thereafter has been built a helping construction for battery, smoker unit, ventilation case and both chimneys.
Both chimneys have been made from styropor rests and should look like masonry with a little concrete head.
Both parts received scratches for the masonry; at the same time receive the little chimney one and the bigger chimney two smoke outlets.
Then has the masonry been finished.
My helping construction to receive my function unit was built from stripes and plywood.
But before the windows are in row,…
…this in the next report.

Continuing with the construction of the windows. For that I’ve been used stripes 10 x 3 mm, a groove was milled, and all parts have been cut to length and mitred.
After sanding I’ve been started to mount the single windows; at first only two thighs.
The inner part is milled from polystyrene.
These parts have been plugged into the groove and the frame have been completed with both lack parts. The first window is finished.
Altogether have been 10 windows needed. Thereafter has been the roof box with a board with 3 mm thickness closed.
It follows fit in of the windows in the corresponding openings; the first window sits in the timber work.
Piece for piece has been completed,…
…until I’ve finished with this work. In conclusion for today still one view.
Until the next time.

Both chimneys were built from styropor-pieces. The drafts are made from aluminium square tube. The head of the chimney was made with tile glue; both chimneys are here already primed.
Here both chimneys in their later positions…
Thereafter I’ve painted both parts with a brick-red colour.
Followed by the joints; painted in dark grey.
The windows have been also primed…
…and thereafter with a dark white brushed.
That’s all for today.
