Hi Mat you could register as a non profit organisation ,any money made after running costs could then be donated to charity such as The Royal British Legion which helps Vetrans or even spilt it so you could donate to more than one.still have to keep books and have trustees ,gets complicated .

Hi Guys
I have been doing MilitaryMightuk now for nearly two years it has taken alot of hard work and beleive me not much profit margin to achieve this today. Setting up a store is very exciting, and fun at times. Alot of suppliers need you to be registeres as a business or self employed for them to even look at you. You will need a VAT number otherwise you pay full amount for items so selling them onyour profits are reduced.
The items you mention i can stock and i am looking into supplying the elmod dbus etc shortly.
Maybe we can come to some sort of arrangement ie a seperate store selling Militarymight items a joint web site maybe so its all in one have a think guys, theres plenty of scope

Hi Andy I agree with you it gets  complcated red tape VAT/tax and notmuch to show for it we need what you all ready have good products and good prices, but we do need to be able to get a hold of I.R battle systems that will fit in Heng long tanks and no one in the U.K. seems interested, tankzone sell one but no details of it no specs or insructions of how it fits in have asked for details but no responce donteven know if its tamiya compatable and dealing with germans who make it is almost imposible half the sites in germany dont put translations on there sites so getting a full picture of how it works is hard.

or rctankwarfare could set up an e-bay store? that would in fact be much much easier ???

militarymight, although you may be able to get these items, the point is that profit (if any) thats made will go towars the club. not personall profit such as militarymight UK.

thanks, hope ive made myself clear now,

Matt

understand now mate where you are coming from, remember on ebay if you are buying in things to sell you will need to register as a business seller which also means you have to be a registered business as well as the home office are now cracking down on ebay sellers.
