The rims will set the look to a large degree but tyres could be standard ones cut & narrowed then set on the new rims.
I’m on the hunt for a truck now.

Hi Herman, I think the plastic panzer IV track looks a good match but that means the suspension wheels will have to have a groove in the middle to accomadate the upward spur from the track link. Let me know if you are ok with that. I'll have to create a smaller drive sprocket but will need to do that anyway to fit on the wpl axle.

Hmmmm, just had another thought about the suspension, we can leave the suspension as is if I position the suspension just outboard of the spur. The sprocket and idler would support the track correctly so that shouldn't be an issue. I guess the only solution is to build it and try it. I've ordered some pz 4 plastic tracks from forgebear so we'll see when they arrive.

Whilst waiting for Centurion prints I've made a start on the maultier suspension
Quite a few of the components are there, some borrowed from existing builds, but i's starting to make sense. Just need the maultier parts and I can get down to some serious design/build.

With very many thanks to Mike in far distant Hawaii, the Maultier parts have just arrived and here they are
I managed to manufacture some track pins from brass rod out of my scrap bin so we have two complete track runs!!! WOW
Also the sprockets split into a brake drum and the sprocket itself, so if I design and print a brake drum it should enable the sprocket to mount onto the WPL back axle - What a win!
In addition, the two front wheels should have enough space in the hub for me to do an insert to enable them to mount to a WPL axle, or I may simply re-engineer the front axle to just take a round bolt as it won't be driven.
I also made a start on the suspension but the Universal Carrier version is too big so a spot of redesign is required
Anyway as soon as my Centurion printing is progressed sufficiently I will be busy, busy, busy on this build!

I've always liked the look of these little beasts, so thanks to Hermann and Alwyn for putting one together. It will be a proud moment for you both when it is up and running.

I’m sure looking forward to getting the base bits & getting on with a build. I’ve been accumulating cardboard to use as templates to get the shape right before cutting styrene.
