Good morning,
Here is a pic of the stock Taigen unit in the 'Palace' Since it is a photo, I am sure that I caught it on the fade side since it is normally, an "eye scorcher" There is a video link in case you want to see it in action. The Tamiya one works great in Mikes Tiger and the only dim bulb of the lot of IR and flasher tanks I have is the MATO M36-B1 It flashes and sends a strong IR pulse but the flash is on the dim side in the daylight.

Hi Painless, wow, that flasher looks shinny enough for me, lol. I am really thinking about buying some... But then, I read what Jay said (Which is not the first time I read it)... Units breaking, failing, and diverse problems here and there...

So still cant decide what to do. Well, in the PIV I think I need a flasher unit, because the hole in the barrel is too narrow... a 5mm led wont fit now that the muzzle brake is glued. In the king tiger I have not tested it yet, but it might be a good idea to fit another flasher too... And regardint the sherman, I think I will try the ultra bright led.

Thanks for the advices, guys.

Years ago there was someone who got hold of disposable camera's and used the flash units from those, I have absolutely no idea how he did it though.
