Very cool conversion.
I was going to get me one of these to do next as I am doing skid steer currently.
Arduino looks fun! I think I give that a miss haha.
I am just going to use v tail mixer for my next conversion which is a tracked skid steer

I will be replacing the Arduino with the dual esc few posts up when it arrives ! The current set up is messy wires every where!

Moved the gear box as rushed fitting it and it was a bit of bodge job. Much better and stronger now. Just need to fill the hole in the chassis now as it twists to much .

Also been playing with the hubs which could probably drive the real thing ! Love a bit of over engineering ! Will replace all the nuts with some better spacers. ImageImage

Boxed in the gear box and fixed the hole in the floor. Added a bit it 10mm×10mm strip wood for strength and to screw into.Image

Electrics sorted, binned the Arduino idea it took up too much space and the dual controller will now be used for something else. I used this https://www.tindie.com/products/makerhq ... ontroller/

Here's the video

The fan may a bit of an overkill but it sounds cool! Still working on lights but running out of room in side.

As I will be fitting lights and rotating beacon I didn't want to have to faf about with loads of wires when removing/ fitting the battery. So cut the back of the cab off. This lead to the orinanl clips on the cab being next to useless so have secured the cab using some left over screws from my Gaz 66 . This has the added bonus of making the whole vehicle a lot stiffer. ImageImage
