Hey guys, today was a good day, my tank modellbau order and some other bits have arrived. Annoyingly I forgot to order the exhaust supports.

So a fair bits been done, fineline Aber mg added, new more accurate headlamp (found a Bosch piece of photo etch to improve it), turret detail bits added, I've rescribed the flame torch marks with a milling bit and a dremmel, lots done on the vents, new grills added and tank modellbau frames, lifting hooks added to the rear deck, resin replacement antenna base, mk modellbau 3m antenna, convoy bracket and green convoy lamp. I'm planning on adding some more detail to the headlamp and scratch building the exhaust supports. Next up is the side skirts ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

All the nice little detail adds up :).
Don't forget about switching the engine deck lifting hooks. That would be a shame in the end. Do you know of optics that fit this hull? The newer tooling has them included, although very basic ones at least.

Love the BOSCH letters on the headlight now!

Can you still turn the machine gun? It should be rotated 90 degrees clockwise from how it is right now. ;-)

1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!

I'm a happy man. 8)

Had a spare half hour, decided to fit the skirts from tank modellbau, unfortunately i found they were the wrong size, not tall enough compared to the impact ones so I fitted the impact ones I had left, they seem to work well with the brass plates. I'm afew short of a full set but thats some often seen in period photos.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
