just thought I would build a few pillboxes for mat weights as suggested by club member (George ) 2 machine gun and 2 anti tank boxes the one with a tower has the back open so as to put a camera to take some action shots hopefully they will turn out ok when detailed and painted one thing I noticed on some pictures I have looked at are the slotted inclines on the slits I must add them hopefully they will turn out ok

I may have to invest in a hot wire cutter, I used to have one but Lord knows where that went... :/

Great work!

I realised I have a box of extruded poly foam sheets in my loft from another project- this has inspired me to begin work on Gärtensdorf for my back yard!

If the buildings were left in situ, yes- but I have a large brick-built shed that I can store them in when not tanking. Besides, the design I'm working on is similar to the Russian log-barns, so each building will be a layer of foam for the walls, with an extra layer in top made from cut foam to resemble the logs, so it may well prove to be fairly resilient. The idea is to portray either a German border village of wooden construction, or a Russian Kolkhoz farm, dependent on which vehicles I'd run.
