I have driven some tracked vehicles which may have been ex-owned by the military, but never owned anything that attaches them.
I don't have space either.
You guys are mad haha

I would like to have panzer parts, but the price is expensive.

At some point, my goal was to owned a part for each models, to compare between 1:1 and 1:16.

At militracks 2019 I would like have bought Famo tracks links...

For me it's a life long love of model making and having focused on most types l'm currently torn between RC tanks, trucks and digital trains. I enjoy my regular visits to the tank museum but l have no strong attachment to the real thing, other than they make great working models. My garage already has F1 tyres, loco name plates etc and there's just no space for a T34!

Only very few Sherman parts:
1/ a door from a M4A2 wreck from the Chambois cauldron that I transformed into a low table by adding some legs,
2/ M70 sight,
3/ M6 periscope,
4/ hull ventolator dome,
5/ M74 track link,
6/ grouser box cover from a field wreck.

Finally, my firsts Tiger1 's parts. A side skirt with heavy battle damages (and I think an explosion) and a teeth from a track link for my 11 years old son. Both bought last summer.

The side skirt comes from Estonia and was found in the Narva' suburbs. It s almost certain that this part comes from a Tiger 1 of schwere panzer abteilung 502. The only one in this sector with Tigers 1.

The previous owner has sold the muzzle brake, but has still for sale a turret's roof. One of his friends has found a tank commander cupola with "502" registration.

I compared the side skirt with one at 1/16 scale and all measurements correspond.

Great thread and very interesting. After seeing this I had a browse on a well known online auction site and saw many offerings; some of them seemed quite reasonable too.

My older son came a tank's specialist. I promise him for this year, if grades at school are good, I will offer him a weekend at Bovington's tank museum during Tiger day...

Too many years I want to visit this museum and it will be maybe this year...
