I am actually considering all fair offers from tankers. You guys all know what the cost of the kit is, the extra parts in it, and the time and work to build, paint, weather it. I figure see what offers come...or at some point I will add it to Ebay with a reserve and see what happens.

As you have shown, those Mig Ammo paints are well-suited to AFVs. Do you remember when Miguel split off from AK? or was it Vallejo? I cannot recall, but you’ve been using them for some time; whereas, I stuck with Vallejo and the now gone Modelmaster FS34087 OD for US AFVs.

I have been having issues with severe dizziness for a long while now..lost my automotive diagnostic business because of it...I am trying to get myself to working on tanks again to help my mind focus....You guys are far too kind. I truly enjoy bringing a model to life and sharing it with folks who share the same thing. Hey, I am still a beginner so I am trying to learn a bit about the weathering applications lol I actually just bought myself an HL Merkava....I am trying to find out if I can buy a set of those fancy gearboxes that use one motor for steering and one for drive to put in it...not much information out there. Here's a Tamiya KV-2 that has been abandoned LOL

Yes AK. Mig is fantastic...as is Adam Widler...and many others. I try my best to learn their techniques and apply them in my own style.

I wish you ever-better health. I wondered why you seemed to disappear from RCTW. "Hey, I am still a beginner." Unh...you are one of the wizards here on RCTW. Based on what you have posted here and in just the past few days, it seems to me that you have picked up on modeling without skipping a beat.

What version of the Merkava did you get? Did you get it non-running so you can add your own motors and electronics?

Thanks so much man. I am trying to get back into the tanks...I bought the HL Merkava. Overall my thoughts are that it is a nice tank. All metal running gear, and far better modelled than previous tanks I have built by them. It has it's short comings, which I will address. I Hate molded in plastic parts that are supposed to be rubber. i.e mud flaps and such. So I did the same as I did on my tamiya Abrams. I designed and printed the pieces in rubber. Tyhe Merkava has far more of these than the Abrams, but it will add a lot to the model I think.
I also found a set of 4 books by desert eagle publishing. "Merkava Siman 4/4M". Of course the only place that has them is in the UK and the total cost fo them shipped is 225usd...so that is a no go . I will try to find information to paint and model it properly without. lol. We'll see how it turns out
