Morning all,
Just a couple of pics of the truck so far, I've been working on and making some of the smaller details, thanks to Wayne again for supplying the 3D printed fuel drums for me which will house the sounds
, only a few more little bits and pieces left to make then I can get it primed,

Looks like you've come up with an affordable Blitz. The one I got from Asiatam was about $500 USD, I imagine you have a lot less into your truck and once painted I doubt we'll be able to tell the difference. Great work.

with the cost of the truck, electrics, wheels and sounds I'm looking at about £110 all in, I already had a lot of the materials I used on it so I'm pretty happy overall

Lee, Are you thinking of making a few Blitz cabs and other body parts for sale ?

Hi Shaun, the cab was printed for me by Wayne ( midlife306 ) he also made the fuel drums which I'll be putting the speaker in, I scratch built the cargo bed and some of the other items and the wheels I had from Germany. It's taken me a good few hour's to get it to this stage, if anyone needs any details of the build or sourcing any of the items I bought or made I'll gladly help with any information I can

Colour me interested, I've been waiting for people to start producing replacement cabs for these HL truck. Give me a few week to sort out free cash & i'll be in touch. Are you doing them as a kit? Cabs, wheel covers & mud guards?

Absolutely fantastic.
Oh I am soo tempted now to give a big 3d printed parts order now. They look superb.
Oh and if anyone has spare HL truck parts they don't want, let me know as I found the perfect way to recycle
