Hi, Helen (MK1 Nut) is a member of this Forum and if you go through the back pages you will see her 1/6 r/c Scratchbuild MK 1, It is a working work of art, I offer that as the place for inspiration

Re: Guy Martin's WW1 tank build
That would appear to be a different "Beast" Guy Martins Team built a "Female" Mk1 armed with Lewis Guns in the sponson's and in the front centre,
Your Mk1 is a "Male" armed with a different gun in the sponson.

Unless my ears (and eyes too) deceived me, Shaun, Guy's team built a Mk 4 'female' example, armed with Lewis gunsjarndice wrote:That would appear to be a different "Beast" Guy Martins Team built a "Female" Mk1 armed with Lewis Guns in the sponson's and in the front centre,

Re: Guy Martin's WW1 tank build
Hi Roy, You are right, My excuse is that I was side tracked by the Forums own search engine,
Someone was asking about the Mark 4 with reference to starting a build,
I new that Helen (MK1 NUT) had built one in 1/6 and her complete build was somewhere on the Forum BUT every time I typed in MK4 I got 7,000 + referrals to the PANZER 4
So I typed in MK1 and et Voila I was where I needed to be and so when I was being Smartass to ICE-MONKEYs treatise I managed with a skill I have possessed since birth to cock it up and wrote MK1 when of course I meant MK4,DOHHH,
Sorry ICE-MONKEY but I still havn't mastered walking on water.

Hi, Shaun
Here's the link to the Mk 1 Nut build (Helen). It's such a stunning piece of enterprise, and work, that we should encourage members to refer back to her thread son a regular basis.
Luckily, all the photos are present there...
and this seminal thread hasn't been subject to the photo blackmail engaged in by Photobucket, with the subsequent loss of invaluable images from the Forum's precious archives.

Re: Guy Martin's WW1 tank build
I'm sure the build for this is on YouTube, I watched something a while ago and think it was a 1/16 .
I remember being astounded at the level of skill involved, if the plans for that were given to a manufacturer I'm sure they would fly off the shelves.

and for anyone who doesn't know who Guy Martin is, here he is at work. Been there three times and never ceased to be amazed at what these guys are doing, you cannot twist your neck fast enough to keep your eyes on the bikes as they pass.
