Honestly I preffer to have everything in one board. The lesser things moving and lesser wires inside, the better.
About configuring the way it drives, you can do it with a programable radio. You can set inertia, (to make it feel more heavy, taking some time to brake, seting spin and etc etc.) I have a ASP2 in my sherman and trust me, only with some programming, it feels way way WAY different to my ASP2 king tiger.
The best thing is you can do it with all aftermarket boards, (even stock tamiya) it is just a matter of programming the radio...
So definitely Id preffer to have a fully functional ASP 3 with no need to attach anything to it.

Colonel Bogey -by Kenneth Alford aka Lieut F J Ricketts in 1914. Music for the words "Hitler, he only had one b***". A counter march was added by Malcolm Arnold and the result was used in The Bridge on the River Kwai.

The Dam Busters March is a great piece of music, but for strict authenticity, it was not composed until 1955. If you are OK with that, there are plenty of stirring film themes. the first that springs to mind is the Great Escape march by Elmer Bernstein.

I dont care about authenticity, as long as it soungs good, it goes to the tank.
