By all accounts, the T34 was an absolute pig to drive.
The driver would end up in a sweat with the exertion of it all.

Yes we are the lucky ones who get to operate it with the flick of a few sticks on our remote controllers

Happened upon a wonderful gent today who was doing some copper flashing at a home of one of my clients. So I asked if I could take some bits from his scrap pile to use for a project....
Solid copper should do for my schurzen plates
Does anyone know any detail on how the Germans accomplished mounting these in the T-34?
I'd assume not as intracate as the Panzer III and IV with all the brackets. Possibly more like the Panther?
Maybe someone knows if a thread already done on this?
Cheers
Carl

Carl!
A pleasure, my Friend. I built one of Germanys most impressive Beutepanzers, the KV-2 based 754r. They had a few and intended to use them in an invasion of Malta.. It never came off so the tanks were sent back to Russia and repainted and eventually destroyed in action against their former masters. My 'Crackerbox Palace' build is here on the forum. ;o) I'll be following along on yours.
regards,
Painless
