Good morning, Gentlemen!
I am very, very happy with the results. It's complete fun to crank it up and listen to all of the sounds and run it around. I really am still a kid inside ( where it counts ). I've wanted a hobby grade Tiger of my own for years now. This tank, along with the M36B1 ( also one of Jacks tanks ) before it, really taught me a lot about servos and TX and RX and how to make them work together to produce realism.

Thank you, Doc. I still favor early Tigers but this one has enough installed and built eye candy and paintwork ( not to mention perfect running capabilities with that Clark board ) that it's the new jewel in the collection. Sass will come to pick his early Tiger up one day and I will build my own detail rich Tamiya version. Until then, I definitely don't feel slighted at all running this late war beauty.

That is high praise from an accomplished Scratch Builder. *bows* This Tiger is not a 100% job but neither is it a broom job. It toes the line very nicely between eye candy and capability in the rough. I really enjoy watching you build nigh perfect tanks and vehicles out of plain styrene and basic resin kits, Doc. Please keep up the good work ( fun ) for the added learning benefits of us regular mortals. *chuckles*

How are you liking the radio? I find it an excellent match for the Clark tk60 board

Evenin' Doc. It's the Radio and it's 10 channel RX that made that version of the Tiger possible. ( Along with the Clark board of course ) Trust me, I did some practice and three other attempts at a video before I was satisfied enough to show the Tiger doing it's tricks on the countertop. The proportional speed and engine sound ( and smoker ) ramp up work so very well on this Beast. I agree, a Tiger just takes up space no matter where it is * chuckles*

Also a big fan of the unique machine gun setup. How did you manage to get the sounds synced to the servo? Did you get the channel on the rx to patch to the Clark MG channel?

I set the bow MG servo to manual control using one of those super cool rocker switches on the Radio. Don't touch the rocker and the MG stays still and lights up with the regular stick control. Use the rocker and you can have the bow MG gunner looking for a target then letting fly or just spray and pray when you light it up using the stick.
