I actually TRIED some sprockets!

Tiger (left) fits! Panther on the right.
But they do not quite look like transport tracks/verladeketten to me...

I think the sprocket tells the tale.... But I agree since I have some transport tracks on my Tiger I they look nothing like them. Hmm.........

I think you may find your answer if you take a look at the robot tanks on the web, I don't think that the ones you have come off a standard RC tank as I can't see any guide horns. Most of the robot tanks use HL tracks, unsurprisingly, but a few use tracks that look similar but aren't.
If you search Google on Robot Tank Tracks, and then click on Images, you will see what I mean.

I don't like that answer... takes away all the mystique!
And in my defense: These look so sofistcated, and so German, so much detail, why didn't they design a way more simple 'fantasy' track...
