How big are the hinges?

Found 8mm x 10mm when opened.

They the right ones?

Yep theyre about right for the look, try and get the nickel plated ones as they seemed to work better.The hinged look if not required to work is better using styrene rod and strip. Bonding them on i ended up using epoxy
