When I started I only knew for sure the gun barrel HAD to be panzergrau! Always love that!

I really like how the 'randomness' of the wheels turned out, colorwise.
Very well done indeed and the figuring out colors is the fun partImage

Really nice tank Marco Peter!

A have one just like it from rctank.de - mine is in Camo paint as I lack your skills in panting.

To emphasise the What if theme of this papir panzer, I also consider adding:

1)Night fighting commanders sight from Asiatam
https://www.asiatam.de/product_info.php ... jhvco6n9j7

2) Night vision for gunner from Asiatam
https://www.asiatam.de/product_info.php ... jhvco6n9j7

3) tank commander in later war camo uniform
https://www.asiatam.de/product_info.php ... jhvco6n9j7

4) more addiquate mg instead of the rather sorry toy like one from Taigen
https://www.rctank.de/ABER-MG34-mit-LED-high-end

5) late war game changing wunder waffen weaponry
https://www.rctank.de/Sturmgewehr-44-in-1-16

Any more tips and tricks for me?

It really does benefit from a closer look  You have some very credible, and well executed, details there. There's an overall worn and metallic look to the tank I find impressive; I'd call it a worn or 'lived-in' look.

Red Primer upper left, pre-shading with panzer-grau upper right, lower left you'll see my secret-tool haha!

Yes, it's an easy trick!
A stick of graphite, simply 'drybrush' everything and use your fingers te make it slightly more subtle!

Sealing the whole in matte varnish makes the effect slightly less 'in your face'. Fun to do!

I considered adding NVG-equipment but so far didn't because I want to race this thing around at events without expensive parts breaking off. ;-)

That commander I already own but right now there is nog space to add him to the cupola.

Can I add that beautiful Aber MG while keeping the LED-flash?
(well I seem to have broke it anyway haha I see no flash anymore after I painted it over so many times, even though I scratched the paint from the tip of the barrel.)

Cupola with Mr.Surfacer 500.

I also added a resin antenna-base and a short piece of metal wire to simulate an antenna.

MG ball mount with Mr.Surfacer 500.

You can see the original 'sauerkopf' here, at already has a nice surface from Taigen.

Sauerkopf with Mr.Surfacer 500. I also added made-up casting numbers, they are plasticard letters. I really like adding such subtle details! :-)

Thanks for revealing your 'trade' secrets, marco. It's always interesting to compare techniques, and find different ways of achieving the same (or better :O ) results. Imcq11 did a piece on his dry brush technique on another informative and educational thread. He's a prime exponent, and you're doing pretty well yourself. :)
I'm just about to try Tamiya's dry brush kits; but I'll certainly look at the graphite option!

That's how I learn as well, learning from others!

And be sure to show us the results! :-)

I was inspired by some 1/35 models but in the end simply made up markings myself.

I used a white pencil sharpened very... sharp. That gave me the best results. My second option would've been a tip-ex sort-of pen I recently got from an office supply store.

That graphite trick is amazing. I've started to empty Louis' trick with dry brushing and it adds so much depth like your graphite trick. The white pencil looks excellent
