yeah I have extras anywaySon of a gun-ner wrote:Weird, but no great loss.
You would have got fed up keep charging it, and your daughter would get bored waiting to use it, but then again, you may end up with it for your collection lol.

lol true I wish, but no she was just thinking of my daughter Gotcha yeah I was just a little worried because when I saw that it was a older model just figure she bid too much. I guess she caught it at the tail end of the auction43rdRecceReg wrote:It was the improbable, and eye-catching headline/title of this thread that grabbed my attention. It must be the gold standard for model tanker relationships, to have a wife who's prepared to buy a tank

The Panzer 3 is not yet in my collection, but scanning the prices on Ebay UK, and a few of the more reliable vendors, suggests that what was paid is a good price, even if you have to buy a battery, and other bits. Should she really get the bug (or was it for you) Taigen do a really nice metal lower hull for a temptingly low price

Well its gonna be my daughter so assuming it even runs then I wont be swapping anything out unless it breaks, even then it will be awhile before I have any money to replace anything thanks to Carl and his KTsilversurfer1947 wrote:I would just like to say that when it comes to upgrading the Panzer III, there's not a lot of room inside. It can be done through.

I told wife to cancel the order. She hasn't paid for it yet. I just feel like its too much money for something that may not work out of the box.

The price is ok for a new tank, or a hardly used one. The old Nicad batteries aren't that bad, you will get 10-15 mins run time out of them, which is probably enough for a youngster. I use two of them in an electric drill, the old power pack gave up the ghost, I wired in two of the HL batteries and it runs brilliantly. If the battery is missing, you can get a decent 2000mah one off Ebay, a 3500mah Nimh will last for a couple of hours at least running HL electronics.
If the board is the old RX13/14 type, it's not hugely expensive to swap it out for an RX18 and a transmitter, if you ask around there are probably plenty sitting in a dusty cupboard somewhere that you can pick up cheap.
Smoke units pack in anyway, and they are a drain on the battery, the first thing that I do is remove it when I buy a tank, and disconnect the lights.

Panzer 4 works well. Some blotches on the paint but that's about it, daughter is happy with it.
