Oh dear, i just can't help myself.......
I have bought another 1/24 tank, this time by Henglong.
Funnily enough i have no idea what it is supposed to be, but i think it is a Leopard of some sorts. Bought off ebay for pennies.
I am going to repeat what i did on this other 1/24 tank and get it up and running so both my kids have one to play with.

Willi,
If you haven't yet, check out VSX tanks. They have a complete line of ir and airsoft 1/24 scale tanks. I have a couple of their models and am very happy with them. Also, if you can find one, look for the 1/24 Tokyo Marui Tiger 1...absolutely amazing! Lastly, look at Forces of Valor 1/24 ir battler tanks. A wide spread of models available with pretty cool versatility built into them.

Will take a look. I built this one for my kids as I got it free from a colleague but electronically busted. It was crying out for upgrading.

So an update!
I am getting ready to upgrade this tank to Henglong electrics so i can get everything working in the tank properly. Need to move back to one handset which does everything, at the same time going for 2S lipo which will drop the voltage slightly, but i think it will allow the tank to function much better! It will get slower of course, but i think it is worth doing.
At the same time i am going to rob this tank of its esc's and fit them in my 1/24 Abrams lower chassis. But it seems quite a boring tank(apology i just don't like it, please..... i don't want to offend) So i am going to rebody the top hull eithe rinto a special vehicle, of i may stick a lexan body on top and make some wacky post apocalyptic vehicle with parts of the turret etc and made roll cage thingy. Then i can just hit the beach and trails with it. Maybe see how well it withstands 3S power!!!!
Heck it cost £8 so if it gets detroyed whilst having fun, it opens itself up for upgrade program. I wonder if Mini brushless motors would fit inside haha!
