Rc tank Electronics servo rotation kit
Re: Rc tank Electronics servo rotation kit
Ok, Carl, just send the address (which I may have already had and it has escaped from the hippie brain) and I'll send a few. As for the rotation of the MG34, I saw a thread where the guy has mounted things directly on top of a servo, so I was thinking maybe the type of setup they use for servo elevation, I just don't want it to return to center every time I let go of the stick.
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Got it. If you are running it off of a board like a Clark or something like that and as MichaelC helped me do patch the servo channel like ch6 to the turret rotation channel you would have full control and no return to center. Not sure how you plan to operate the servo. The nice thing about Ian's setup is it has many gears to adjust the speed.
Tanks alot....

Re: Rc tank Electronics servo rotation kit
So with much help from Mr MichealC on the forum getting close to finishing my JS-3
put together a video to show the functions of the turret rotation assembly from Ian and it's proportional control both fast and slow. I'm still getting used to it. Used a broken outdoor garden led light to fix my headlight I blew out. I added a larger speaker from Mr Tankbear too
The servo mod ..... It does make turning the turret a bit more fun
( I think I have to get out more)
