Yes the track recoil can be turned off so only gun recoil remains active.

The IBU2 triggers the flash, IR and recoil/airsoft all at the same time. The taigen recoil requires power to the motor to power it forward until it gets to a point then the spring fires it backwards, so the delay is this. Try adjusting the stop limit on the recoil so the recoil is closer to the spring point which will descrease the motor time and delay. Other things to check is the motor under powered, i.e. Flat battery, high resistance wiring or connections (bad solder joint) or even a dud motor.
