better to have them as separate units the one mounted on the lathe is very restricted the size of job you can do

Hi I have the same lathe had it for 10 years , its never let me down dose a good job . Have a different milling machine to the one on ebay ,that also gets a lot of use .

I'm sure it will be a good deal - just no where to put it at the moment.

The lack of space was the biggest single reason why I went the way I did,
It obviously is a compromise but finding space for a Milling Machine or a Myford Lathe is a non starter whereas if you already have a pillar drill or a drill stand then you have enough space for the mini milling table ,
The same company sells a Mini Lathe but what puts me off is the difficulty in finding things like Tailstocks and other vital accessories as well as the fact that a decent lathe needs a solid mount not floating about bolted onto the top of a bench.

Hi Guys
The lathe in the pics from Axminster Tools they are a Chinese knock off of the Emco Unimat 4 lathes.
If your work shop is a bit damp/condensation they rust like hell but they are good but dont expect German Qulity Emco Unimat 4 lathes.
