I think this forum has realy got their attention and is a THORN in their side.When Matt first started this forum I don't think they thought it would ever ammount to much.Well BIG surprise for them,it is now one of the fastest growing forums I have seen.Let them look all they want,they will see what they are missing on That forum.And yes I don't think we have to fear that posting their forum name " RC UNIVERSE " that all the members here are going to jump ship and run over to that forum,I think the oposite is going to apply and that is what they are worried about.
As long as this forum continues to dedicate itself to being a forum where you can have "fun" building your hobby (which ever you choose at the current time) and are able to post what you please concerning your model with-out the fear of a personel attack on you or your model this forum will grow by leaps and bounds-----------Set back-----build and post----and "WATCH IT GROW"---

I use both sites but they seem to be more and more into "destructive critiersim" (excuse spelling) that tanks crap etc :-[, There are a couple of good guys and these are all i speak to. may this site flourish

I'm really not that bothered about posting on RCU anyway. I haven't posted any builds on there since I became an active member of this foum. What did bother me was the way my account was down graded without notification or explanation.

At the end of the day they are the losers. This forum is gaining new members on a daily basis and in my opinion will continue to do so, simply because it is a better forum altogether.

I just got back in from the local club meeting - one of the guys said he saw your post, and was absolutely astonished when I told him that it had already been deleted...

It seems their moderators are a law unto themselves.
As I said earlier, it's their loss. A lot of people on this forum were very active contributors to that forum.

there loss our gain, bunch of nobs,(pardon my French),if you ask me  abusing administration rights for their own jollies, leave them to it, our forum will grow theres will diminish and it will be their own faults.

i didn't have a problem with the site (at first) most of the guys seemed fine, you got the odd intimidating self styled expert but i suppose you get them on almost any kind of forum you see on the net, but the mods seem to have a god complex (i am the great moderator and you minions will do my bidding or else!) there was no problem in having certain people rip apart someones work or telling a guy he,s cheap because he doesn't have a tamiya tank, but why ban a guy and not give a reason, but when you do get an explanation its because you mentioned another site ?, that just doesn't make sense to us more intelligent people, then again i was banned because i questioned a mods parentage and told him to go and do something that unless he was double jointed would be physically impossible, although it would have been fun watching him try doing it.
this all works out OK for us as well as other forums once people see what they are truly like they will leave or not join at all and go to other forums where you wont get banned or your services limited just because you mention or post a link to another site.
we may be a thorn in their side but that looks like its growing into a spear in the chest, we know were better and i bet our unknown guests know it too, so don't be just a guest be a bloomin member, you'll find it quite nice here honest ...........oz

let me assure all of you that if they show their faces here, I will be more than happy to abuse my godly powers to the fullest extent possible

(but only if the other mods don't get there first... >:( )
