Brel speak to pete (971wright) i think he has hooked up the "K" button on the transmitter via a micro switch to the wiring on the re-coil (old airsoft function)

hey this is great, shame about the red light thing and no sound... but still a great addon, and as adin said its a great improvement from the whole tank shaking itself to bits LOL

Hi Brel fit Darkiths battle unit when you fire the sound card On the battle unit has two sounds on it fire and hit when you fire the gun you get a bang at same time plus normal sounds from heng long and you can go I.R.battling if you get them rom Darkith you have to assemble them if and record your own sounds if you get them from Blitz they come ready to install pre-recorded sounds so it depends if you can solder check out the web sites http://darkith.dyndns.org/~darkith/html/dbc.shtml

Pete, thanks for the links and will let you know what i have decided later in the next week or two

now I am totally confused as to which one to buy

here is a picture showing the under side of the turret and the new connector plug that replaces the small PCB that had the 3 wires on it also I used the connector to carry the negative ground for the LED flash

Hi Brel you have an Rx18 board in your tiger you have another option there is a german battle unit that converts heng long to tamiya compatable its called the BSU if your interested P.M. your e-mail address to me and I will send the pdf files about them to you the cost is alot less than the EGS or darkiths I think there 36 euros + post .
