Keep it......................adds realism and you will regret it otherwise.!!

I wouldn't sell it, if I did remove it, I could easily put it back.
I just don't think I would take the tank out for the day and have the audio on all the time.
I think I'd get annoyed with it :haha:

Just got started on trying to sort all the lighting out, was a bit confused to begin with, I didn't realise Tamiya provided the LEDs for you on a board lol.
I'm also missing a few parts, does anyone have, or does anyone know where I can find the two follow parts... I need the light lenses and possibly the buckets.
Not having much luck finding them based on the part numbers in the manual.
A good source of small stock/original bits would be good actually, I will probably end up needing more items along the way.

I will try my luck there now, thanks :)
I know it's obviously the clear parts tree (assuming it's a tree) but no idea on the part number of the tree :haha:

I just love some of the details, so I decided to give it a little bit of a clean to show some of them off.

Front light pods/brackets fitted.

Mmmm, hello Mr MG3!

Baskets added properly now... Shovel added.

Given my indecision about if to respray or not, I have decided, before investing many many hours and many many pounds into it, I want to use it, I might hate it and sell it, so I don't want to end up too invested into it, so decided to just give it a run tomorrow.
Wiring all plumbed back in, tested and working fine (to my surprise LOL)

Battle ready!

Well, I'm somewhat gutted.
Ran the tank for the first time today, it ran absolutely great, but it's just not for me.
It's not at all what I expected.
My driving style and what I want to do with it and film it doing, just aren't going to work at all.
At least I now don't have the itch I needed to scratch, it has been scratched, it's very disappointing, but I don't want a shelfer, as nice as it looks.
Rather glad I didn't buy a Grand Hauler and low loader for it now!
Sadly, it'll be going up for sale at some point in the near future
I can definitely see the appeal of building the kits just as shelfer pieces/static models.
Unfortunately, I don't really have the funds and space to leave it just sat on the shelf :(
