Re: IBU 3 motor problem.
Hi, I got an email from Ivano himself, so he will fix my board. A big thanks to him, for his support.

Re: IBU 3 motor problem.
Yes I had two defective boards and I DO NOT blame Jerry at all. Ian also offered to look after my board before Jerry stepped up to the plate so the distributors here are top notch. In my opinion, Ivano better get in front of this quality control issue before it is too late to come back from. At this point, I am waiting on my second replacement and will post the results, but I will probably not be buying another IBU. I think of the hours I wasted sorting this product out and the frustration, it just is not worth it. I love the features and cost, but my Tamiya's just work and even my one Clark TK22 worked out of the box after I figured out I accidently pulled the jumper out. The Chinese are great for low cost manufacturing, but their quality can be lacking so you better double check before shipping!

To be fair, here is my IBU2 Pro in my Hooben T55 which works as advertised. The Enigma is still in development waiting on good weather for paint and my replacement IBU2 Base to get her rolling.

One thing that you could try, even though I appreciate that you shouldn't have to, is to hold the board while running the motors, gently wiggle the motor socket. If the motor bursts into life then it's a cold solder joint, which would be a fairly simple fix with a soldering iron.
