Hi Frankie, firstly I'm sorry you have had this problem with some brain dead mental defective. Is there not a facility on your sons phone to block calls from withheld numbers? It might be worth investigating as it would save you both a lot of hassle. It might even be worth changing the number on the phone with a new sim card. If it's PAYG then Giffgaff are pretty good - I've been with them now for about 4 years.

Hope you don't have any more problems with this fool anyway.

I'd really hate to think it was anyone on this Forum. It's all too bizarre to grasp. Could it be someone you had dealings with in Ebay, perhaps? Whatever, there's no shortage of nutjobs on this planet, sadly..but it's particularly galling that the lad was exposed to that level of malice. Commiserations.
