Yep, to ensnare/entangle or detonate RPG type weapons prior to impacting the primary armor.

Finally made the connection with Tank-Modellbau and Slat Armor kit is headed my way.
I also acquired the Hobby Boss 1/35 kt of the Leo 2A6M Can with the slat armor to use as reference.
I found the new configuration Grenada Launchers on AFV Club.
