Sweeneyuk, any progress on your tank? Have you solve the problem or choose to upgrade the tank?

This is a Taigen example of my Tiger 1 - as you can see, it will run through mud (in moderation !).

Sadly not had a chance to get stuck in. Saw a taigen lower hull on Welsh dragon models that looked reasonble price. Might get the idler wheels to start with.

Is there an optimum number of cleats for the tracks? was considering removing 1 on each side to see if it helps.

If I can modify what I've already got that's would be best route, just not sure why it was clicking and not turning. If it's a clutch can it be adjusted?

Thanks for all the info

I don't think it's a good idea to remove links from tracks. The tracks need certain degree of loose to work properly. Please note that the H/L idlers are supported by a screw only unless you install tracks tensioner. Over tightened tracks will eventually bend the supporting screw of the idlers that lead the idlers to tilt inward. Problems will be more serious. I did some mod on my Pantiger last night, I'll see if it can be any better today.

As planned, I took my Pantiger outdoor today. Nothing changes, it ran about 10 meters and track thrown. All my three tanks throw tracks and only the right tracks will throw. Is this a coincidence or some special reason? However, any idea or suggestion with the throwing tracks? The tank runs fine on floor.
