It goes on with finishing the annex. As first were preparations for a door made. These door receive later a pair hinges. The hinges were selfmade; here were the door tapes from a copper sheet with 0,8 mm thickness made.
These sheet stripes were thereafter folded and additionally sold.
The counterparts were made from eye screws with collars; into these eyes were little round brass pieces sold.
The door herself is kept simple; plywood is the base plate inside…
…and at the front side were old ice handles glued.
Both fugues were with thin wooden stripes covered.
Here once the finished door tapes; always with drilled holes for mounting.
Thereafter were the counterparts at the annex mounted; simply drilled and at the backside screwed.
The supernatant at the door tapes were measured…
…and the door tapes mounted to the door with rivet head bolts.
It goes on at the next time.

Hotte, Good Afternoon,
I believe that you must be one of the Toymasters of old, reincarnated. Fabulous barn work! Will this be a permanent installation somewhere?
regards,
Painless

You sir, are a master craftsman, I would have no idea where to start with a building of this standard. Great pics, at least we can see how you are building it...and having an immaculate workshop is a good start.

Wow there's more fit and finish in this barn than some of the full size homes I work in! Incredible

Hello Painless,
thanks for your kindly words. We (the IG-Panzerjäger) build up us currently a new battle ground and for this terrain is this building. But it won't be a permanent installation; after each battle day it comes back in our container. So we have also the possibility to take it with us if we have an exhibition. Have a nice week.

Hello Wibblywobbly,
also to you many thanks for your kind words.
And exactly this is the reason for such a report - all members in the forum can get some inspiration and ideas for a own building. The pics are very important for a better understanding and I promise - it goes so on. Stay curious.

Hello Mr. Bix,
also to you thanks for your reply.

But I can calm you down; our members are not more the youngest but in favour good rc tank drivers. And - a little accident should my building survive. I hope so...
