A smoke generator was also purchased and even I can fit that! 
Now that its a runner, the fun bit begins with the detailing

I just got back from Andrew Haya's place in Barry and the project is back on schedule. A big thank you to Andrew for getting the Shermie up and running and to his good lady for her hospitality

The smoke is now coming from where it supposed to be coming from. 
Despite the mishaps, I am learning about the electrics and I already have converted turret for my next project. So far, I'm enjoying the 'work' and the project has moved on a pace since I got it back. transfers for the Queen's Bay's are a bit of a problem, but having modelled static Sherman's since 1973, I am adept at making my own. Pictures a bit later on.
