Good morning, Gentlemen,
I will amend the Rules to note that an entry tank must wait 30 days before being reentered into the competition again. Winning entry tanks must wait Six Months before being re-entered. Fair enough?

Painless

Hi Painless, that seems eminently fair to me and I'm sure it will increase the number of entries.

Painless so the idea is that you can't "spam" the TOTM by keeping entering until you win, right ? i.e. If I enter this month (December) with a tank and lost, I can't enter it again next month (January) but can the month after (February) ?

Or can you let me know the rules around tank crews and riders ? I know I violated it last month just want to make sure I don't do it again.

Thanks !

Michael,
Hello. Right, the idea is to not be able to enter the same tank again, ad infinitum every time. The rider thing goes with the 'No Diorama Shots' A Commander is all right, maybe even a Loader or any other member. No tank riders because then we are getting away from the point of the contest. Best voted for Tank not Best voted for Tank Picture.

Hi Guys I understand the guide lines for posting in the tank of the month ,had to set up at a meeting to get two tables and a plain back ground to lay the bridge, its a tank of the month not a photo competition, the bridge layer needs a gap to lay bridge cant lay it on flat ground, having said that ,I did ask if I could use a broken bridge to show it and was given permission to use it ,but I thought it would cause problems so I did the set up .One of my tanks on the self waiting to be finished is a Bergpanzer with working crane, dozer and winch . Now to show that working is going to be hard need to have something to lift show how much it can lift ,need to have something to pull with the winch, also have a DD Sherman which need finishing do I just stick it in the bath , think the diorama part needs to be more common sense rather than dead strict rules.

Good afternoon,
Pete, I didn't say anything about the Bridgelayer tables because Bridge needs gap to show it as part of the tank. Broken bridge would have been a discussion item but what you did works just fine. It's my sense which is being subjected to show as common so on any of those other fine models you are going to eventually submit, just ping me or my replacement. ;o)

2 empty tables certainly could never be labeled as a diarama, Goodness! Thankfully Mr.Painless is blessed with the super power of common sense!

Re the tanks/figures issue, I personally think that open artillery tanks such as the M10, M7, and Michaels tank would be expected to have crew. What does everyone else think?

I think this is getting complicated and is the reason I'm not entering anything until you sort it out.

It should be simple!

Scale 1/16 rc
Photo of your tank
With or without crew/riders
Background can be around 1:16 buildings or outside

I don't see much fuss on other forums or a discussion about it.

Good morning,
Let me make a small adjustment here and Ad Lav has the right of it:

"Scale 1/16 rc
Photo of your tank
With or without crew
Background can be plain or outside"

This is what I have been saying all along. I don't want a huge blow out like last month. I'm missing enough folks as is.
