I don't believe Mr Tiggr was having a crack.

Correct Herman. I am not having a crack.
It a question of how important your hobby is to you.

At the top end of any hobby, you can pay many thousands of pounds for miniscule "improvements" or for the privilege of a "Badge".

Same in any recreational activity.............sport or hobby.
I used to race motorcycles, and the justification for any outlay was power= pace. and even starving myself to be as lean as possible to avoid having to build power when weight could be shed for free....................

The Aeromate Tiger is truly a thing of beauty, and worthy of pride of ownership, but like anything, pride has a price.

Wow, it is an AMAZING kit and I'd love to have one. It is very expensive, yes, but it seems more reasonable to pay 3.600 euros for that, than 800 for a Tamiya.

"Worth" is awfully subjective, but having a look at Chris Ludwig's build there the cost certainly seems justified.

Bit rich for my tastes, but since they don't make any interesting tanks (only Tigers? Pah!) I guess it's not an issue. ;)
