I've had good experiences with 3D printed stuff from Shapeways (these exhausts, for example). It might take a little work to clear up or retexture the artefacts from the printing process, but it's no more effort than if they were resin.
There's a lot more available in resin though, there are a number of German retailers that specialise in 1:16 scale resin/metal casting:
