Of course, Doc! ;o) I am gathering parts to put the wiring and lights back together is all. Detail bits in the work also, some Tamiya American tools, Jerry cans, etc. I have a lot of learning to do to control this thing properly. It is a _lot_ different from the old MATO or Taigen controllers.

Like you I'm probably looking at spring for completion as the xmas period gives me a bit more time off to concentrate on the hobbies. I too have got a few detail parts together now (mainly Schumo bits and pieces for the upper hull and the M.2) but really looking forward to seeing what you have in mind regarding upgrades for this little monster.

I too am going to run this TD using the stock TK22 MFU and receiver. I think I will add a TARR smoker if the board allows it. Detailing with be Tamiya type with some Schumo cabling thrown in as well. It will be a fitting companion for 'Maxene'. ;o)

Today was a big day for parts delivery for this TD. Firstly, received the 3D printed case for the Clark board ( and a lovely piece of Norwegian chocolate, thank you, Maxx ) Superb quality and a boon for re doing the wiring on this build. MATO graced my door next with a big box packed within a bigger box that contained all the pieces I wanted to set everything back to stock. After Mike's Tiger, I'm doing all the builds I have lined up in reverse order so the M36B1 will be next in line. ( I had to prove to MATO that I could do a build of this vehicle before they felt comfortable selling me the requested parts. They had wanted me to go through Nathan in OKC but some pics of my build of 'In The Mood' satisfied them. ) Pics:

My thinking on this is manifold. Mike had mentioned that with two of the turrets, I could switch out one with the turret on the M10 kit and run either an M10 or an M36 Jackson whenever I wanted to. The M10 will be built with a Clark MFU as well so it seemed like a good thing to do. ;o)

P.S. The extra Upper will be used as an upgrade on another Sherman build one of these days, a basic gun tank in 75mm.

Post showed up today with some anticipated stuff from Norway. Max comes through again with a Remote and jumper cable + detailed instructions on how to program the M36's Clark board. Sweet stuff! ( and chocolate, of course ;o)
