Steenv,

I'm impressed. Thats some modeling skills you got there man! I like it...no! I love it! Those GI's seems to come alive. Are those grenades cemented? And those tent with the stick (don't know what its called) by the right side of the tank...what is it made of? Fabric, paper, vinyl?

BTW, your from Denmark? I visited your place once when I was little with my family. But the only thing I remember when we visited Europe was the mermaid statue. I think its in Copenhagen. Not sure though.

Anyways great work man!

Hi Glory71

Yep - The little mermaid is in Copenhagen, and for the first time she is going on vacation  ;D Actually the City  administration has lent her out to the Chinese for 6 month to attend a local exhibition there.

The tent on the side is actually a "bed" for wounden personel. I made it out of olivegreen vinyl that I have had over my Weber grill this winther. Because the vinyl was very thin and we have had a lot of rain this winther, it got very thin and looked battledamaged  :D so I took a pair of grill wooden sticks appx 15 cm each ( measured to fit a 120mm wounded soldier) and glued the vinyl to each stick, rolled it together and glued it onto the PErshing.

The handgranates are also glued.

If you ever get the chance to visit copenhagen again, give me a notice and the team will invite you to a local battleday

cheers
Steen
Best regards
Steen

Thanks Steen,

I am going to make one (bed) for my Sherman. Thanks for the dimension.

Off topic...I was there with my younger brother and my parents way back in the early '80's. My dad trained in one of the Naval School there when he was still a Navy Capt. Your country built one of the biggest training ship in the world at that time for Philippines. It was called M.S. Filipinas or Pilipinas.

We are actually going to visit my Aunt in the UK this December 2009. From there we'll head to Paris, then Rome (Vatican). Maybe before we go back to the States, I can go and visit Denmark again and hit a local bar there (after a day or two of being 'holy' in the Vatican with my wife...just kidding...lol).

Cheers man! A really cool tank you got there.
