Just had a look at the DKLM website.
Their gearbox has a belt drive - how robust is this in a heavy tank ?
My limited experience of a belt drive is on a particular locomotive on my garden railway. No problem if it isn't overloaded, but others I know that have them, have experienced belt failure on modestly heavy trains.

I have desided to stock a few of these DKLM-RC gearboxes in a short while .
I've been driving my Jagd in the garden the whole summer, no issue , and it moves my tank butter smooth around the place . And if the belt snaps ore stretch, I will have a few in the spare boks.

Wow! I thought DKLM stopped making these gearboxes. Have they continue production?

I think he had a exlusive deal with the factory that he was sole provider for a set number of years . I have been shopping these from him + a few other channels the past years
