No joke, the city I live in has an ordinance that says if you let your cats go outside, if they leave your property you're committing a misdemeanor. Try telling that to a cat. This is the latest way the old witch who lives behind me has found to take a shot at me. She's done everything she can to drive me out of the neighborhood, and now she's using my cats against me. That's why I'm moving.

Well, a special thanks for fixing the video link, Gary, especially considering the Kafka-like situation you find yourself in. Are the Burghers of Detroit so thick that they're unable to recognise that cats cannot behave like dogs? Boundary fences, International Border Posts, one metre "personal spaces', and other ways of marking territories..are utterly meaningless concepts to the domestic cat. 'Domestic' is perhaps a misnomer, as cats retain much of their walk- on- the- wild side traits. Hedges, picket fences and the like, must strike them as minor and incomprehensible obstructions put there for exercise purposes (leaps etc..)...
I bet your neighbour's IQ is less than her shoe size, and is a tenth of her waistline

Max-U52 wrote:I did a whole video series on this tank, Roy. Here's one on roadwheels that you may get some useful info from, especially the robogrip!
I used water pump pliers, Gary, and they have a mechanism that works rather like the 'Robogrip' tool...although not quite so effective at keeping the jaws parallel..

I was also wondering if one of those small pistol grip clamps would work, but the robogrip works well enough that I'll just stick with that. Just got another P4 with metal roadwheels to put on, so I'll be doing it all over again if I ever get up the energy. All this stress can sure take it out of a guy.
Glad you got things sorted out, Roy, can't wait to see video of that puppy in action, and speaking of puppies, give Midgie a little scratch for me.

Saw a feature lately about shootings in Chicago (mostly black on black..it seems). There the toll for gun deaths (500+), in one year, exceeds the US Army bodycount for Iraq, and much of the Afghanistan debacle. That's very sobering, and I imagine there's a similar picture in Detroit. Given all the killing, you'd think the authorities would have better things to do than legislate on the movement patterns of felines, wouldn't you?
Anyway, I hope the court contains officials with working brain cells.. and, of course, I wish you all the best.
Now, the Panzer iv has been a big headache. As Shaun pointed out..and I should have heeded the warning.. the Asiatam metal chassis looks good, but the looks conceal a bundle of woes: little plastic bags containing stub axles that are too tight; screws that don't screw properly and more. Then, there are holes that are slightly too small to receive their intended parts, or won't quite line up with them (axel supports for example)...in short, nothing quite fits where it should.
I have made headway, though, and I shall be posting updates on my Pz4 thread shortly.
In the meantime, the endangered Scottish wildcat (possibly a relative of the Iberian Lynx) has the right in law to roam though anybody's garden. In fact, humans do too...(though I wouldn't try

)..
Tell your neighbour that! Midgie says "Hello!" (well, 'woof'..her approximation) and, in terms of animal solidarity, sympathises with your feline friends. She loves to chase cats out of my garden, and what would happen to her favourite pastime if the moronic lawmakers decreed that they were no longer welcome?

Hootsmon!
