Like you, we are both trying to find something that will give us a passion while we try to get better.
Any replica building would be fun but I chose R/C Tanks. Why? Well, they are on the ground to begin with and won't come out of the sky, crashing down on you and ruining a lot of work and money.
Get into the history of the particular tank you have purchased and make it yours.
You can go online and find a particular "real" tank" like the one you have and detail it as such.
My next one is being researched as I type.
Just a word of caution... you can keep your wallet open for sure because it will be needed if you
get serious like these yahoos that contribute on this site.
